Job Overview:
McCann Partners is supporting a Chicago- based client with Hiring a ServiceNow Engineer in either Dallas, TX or Chicago, IL. This is a 12- month hybrid engagement.
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $70 to $80 hourly + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all U.S. locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In this role, you will:
- The Configuration Management Database (CMDB) contractor will support the strategy, planning, design, implementation, management and performance of Configuration Management solutions that will effectively and efficiently support the strategic objectives and operational needs of the client.
- Work with the client's Technical stakeholders to define configuration items and classes, their attributes, and data collection that are important to best support the client. 2025 Ovation launch which consists of custom products and persistent COTS.
- Work with the Discovery Administrators to create and implement service maps. Ensure timely population into the correct ServiceNow tables to support ITSM modules and business objectives.
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Understanding capabilities, business applications, services, products, software packages, and their functionality in the ITIL model
- Comprehension of and the ability to communicate and implement the ITIL CMDB model
- Comprehension and experience with application and implementation of the following: ServiceNow CSDM model, ServiceNow Discovery, ServiceNow Service Mapping of internal and external products, Service Portfolio Management, and Application Portfolio Management
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders to ensure an effective CMDB that adheres to governance standards
- Broad general knowledge of IT infrastructure topology including typical product, application, server, and networking configurations
